An Evening of Acoustic Yoga at The Barnacle

Come and enjoy an outdoor yoga flow class taught by Mary Margaret Thomas of Yoga House Miami as Will plays guitar.

COCONUT GROVE – COCONUT GROVE – After a long workweek, take time to renew and restore with an outdoor yoga flow class on Friday, October 29, 2021 beginning at 6:30 p.m. EST at The Barnacle Historic State Park, 3485 Main Highway, Coconut Grove, Florida 33133. Taught by Mary Margaret Thomas of the Yoga House Miami and with soothing guitar accompaniment by Will Thomas, this class is for all levels including beginners. Enjoy this retreat as the sun sets and the city slows down. Your body, mind, and soul will thank you for a unique experience at your state park. Participation is limited and tickets are only available on Eventbrite https://bit.ly/3kEBbdx. Buy early for the best price: $25 per person or $100 for five people (so you save even more!). The cost per ticket goes up on October 29 to $30 per person.


Plan to arrive before 6:30 to ensure that the class begins on time, and park in the neighborhood. After entering through The Barnacle’s pedestrian gate, follow the long, wooded pathway to the bayside front lawn where you’ll have plenty of space to distance and roll out your yoga mat. The class lasts about an hour and participants are invited to bring a picnic to enjoy afterwards in the tranquility of the park. Please leave pets at home and come prepared to pack out all trash as there are no waste bins at The Barnacle.


The Barnacle Historic State Park is administered by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and events are sponsored by The Barnacle Society, Inc., a non-profit organization created for the preservation and financial support of this historic site.
