Coconut Grove – The Barnacle Society invites you to Cars & Cigars, held each Father’s Day on the bayfront grounds of The Barnacle Historic State Park, 3485 Main Highway, Coconut Grove, Florida 33133. This year’s celebration takes place on Sunday, June 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST.

Park in the neighborhood and head over to The Barnacle to see classic cars displayed in front lawn of the house. Vote for your favorite and winners will be announced at the end of the event.

Spread out a blanket on the grass with a picnic from home, or purchase burgers and hot dogs hot off the grill from The Barnacle Society. Proceeds from concession sales help raise funds for historic preservation at the park. The pedestrian gate opens at 9 a.m. and admission is the regular entrance fee of $1 per person. Children ages 5 and under are free, and well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome.

The Barnacle Historic State Park is administered by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and events are sponsored by The Barnacle Society, Inc., a non-profit organization created for the preservation and financial support of this historic site.
