Earth Week Celebration

When: Sunday, April 29 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m
Admission: $5 Ages 6 and up. $3 Ages 2-5. Kids under 2 free.

Coconut Grove – The Barnacle and Little Ladies and Gents invite you to celebrate Earth Day at
The Barnacle Historic State Park. Enjoy Earth-friendly products and food, live music, games, and crafts.

Hop aboard the AET Kids Fit & Fun Bus (a full-sized refurbished school bus made into a mobile fun and 
fit center). Pedal your way to a delicious treat on the bike blender. Decorate your bike and ride it in the 
bike parade. Hear Alana Resaul of Lotus Fields Forever Inc. speak about how to utilize and Co-exist 
with mother nature. Enjoy a book reading by 8-year-old Edwin Bonilla Jr., award-winning author of the 
Moonbeam Children's Book Award, and participate in an interactive book workshop by Yajaira De La Espada, 
creator of the zine "Negra Sappha."

Picnics and well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome. The event is $5 for ages 6 and up and $3 for ages 2 to 5. 
Kids 2 and under are free. House Tour tickets are an additional $3 for ages 13 and older, $1 for ages 6-12,
and free for kids under 6. Free bicycle valet will be provided by Bike Coconut Grove.
